IQ Buds Boost claimed through private health insurance

I posted last month that I pre-ordered my Boosts.
Posting now to say that I successfully applied to my health fund for reimbursement under the hearing aid provisions of extras cover.
Sent the 2 NUH releases - about the device being admitted to the hearing services program, and the one about the ear ID software being validated against audiometry. My fund already knew I have a hearing impairment from a past claim, so that will have helped. I wrote to them that this is disruptive technology and very consumer focused, and cheaper than regular hearing aids for people with mild to moderate loss, so benefits to the fund as well.
