Not 100%...but my understanding is that these mobs act as agents for Workcover claimants. Kind of like a quasi-legal audiologist type of thing.
Interesting to see if Workcover steers applicants towards Boosts given federal recognition towards applicants with moderate to medium hearing loss due to work related hearing loss.
Would be well worth an aoproach by NUH to Workcover (is WC State or Federal funded...not sure?)... could be a very lucrative move and win/win for all parties (good for us/claimants/taxpayers in lower level hearing loss claims).
Make for a pretty great ann and some very good press/exposure IMO.
