Been seeking that term for months! Captures the very essence of the hearables market and NUH.
Deserves it's own Thread title! NASCENT NUH.
One word to underscore our SP volatility. For that very reason I'm confident there is no way in the World one can you draw any meaningful conclusions from retrospectiveany quarterly analysis at this point in time.
We remain in parallel with say...the same stage of development as a mining explorer and as such it is every bit of new news that will drive SP. For that reason I am in full support of Laup's stated position re. anns...at least with respect to price sensitive anns.
Our day to day in thread discussions/debate serve their own benefit of contemporaneously recording issues as they arise...but anns are different as they are the first place any HC member will (or perhaps second to the Co website) to start their research.
So maybe some of the longs think it a negative and their reasons are noted but it's not the already informed existing MT/LTs that are going to be attracted is it?...they've had the opportunity to learn the detail of what is going on and likely need no convincing as they have strength in their conviction.
It's new investors we want in order to further stabilise SP over time.
Would remind we cracked the 14.5 resistance for the second time over life of NUH (3rd time lucky they say...blue sky!). And on what news did we actually do that ? Not that much really ...to drive it from the poor sentiment of a possible CR...to the news of Boost pre-orders and interest by Sonova which effectively tripled us to 14.5 from a 5.2 bottom (caused by the sell off DYOR newbs)...that's a near 200% jump (supposed to be 400% apparently because it's off a retrace?) in what...a couple of months?
We've brocken the 10.5 support and retesting bottom but look what we've held up against with in terms of global/macro volatility in recent months. I've stated my intermittent concerns on that point ...and they remain...unfortunately...no idea which way we'll end up with all the geo-political tensions out there.
Mind boggling contradictions that I've never seen in my lifetime with technologies that are making human judgement response very dangerous.
Imagine a World where US foreign policy is run off 3am ramblings on Twitter by a President in complete disjoint from his major hawk advisers who are putting out contradictory press via the deep state (administration manipulated) media channels. Well...you needn't imagine ...it's happening!
Actually...making light of it...but current US politics does remind me (at least in part) of this movie from 2006...Idiocracy....warning strong language...
Anyway...NUH is one of the few stocks showing a lot of resilliance in face of volatile Dow/market movements...that is a telling indicator of future stability IMO.
Co specific news here is plus on plus and sooner or later the doubts that plague us due to the nascent nature of both our distruptive tech and the industry combined with the fall of the long standing traditional barriers to entry that audiologists have taken advantage are now gone with the OTC Act.
We're now all about restructuring the access to hearing health and associated health issues. That's just the health story alone.
Then you have the much broader general consumer market...and I'll remind everyone...we stand at the forefront of that as well...we are blow for blow at the top of the tree including Airpods...on virtually every parameter.
We don't have Apple's marketing clout sure. .not yet..likely never...but what we do have is a Co that has bought together an amazing and unique combination of talent that can't be readily replicated even by the big boys. I'll also restate that the big boys aren't likely to be interested in trying to push hearables as a health tech...focus for them will be lifestyle/sport as is current case.
We're able to hit the briad spectrum market with new diversification at every angle. Health/sport/business/leisure/hi fidelity sound/translators/telecommunications....you name it. Alll we need is time...steady as she goes.
Now entry exit points/trade strategy are for the individual...but what I'm driving at is that word...nascent...it's a beautiful word. Let it resonate in the mind of our ill willed detractors...it's key to why your doom and gloom posts are so devoid of meaning when trying to downramp the stock on valuation techniques applicable only to mature established Cos NOT early stage tech pioneers!
Yet to find a better proposition for multi bag gains than right here that is worth taking a higher than average position in whilst feeling a strong sense of comfort. It's a rare feeling in any sub midcap I think.
