This is the first time I've seen a post with "nick cbehrenbrunch" mentioned by you.
When I asked who CB was Sigmadelta said Chris Breakybrunch. Or something similar. Google then gave me some black american rapper (or what looked like it).

Public forums are part of the marketplace. Public listed companies. Initial Public offer.
Ideas and opinions (good, bad, indifferent) get passed around in public forums. So of course the good ones (especially because they make sense when apprehended by reasonable minds) can affect the public share price.
There is a saying that "there is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come". Its the idea (the good opinion) more than the person voicing it that holds the power - in my opinion.
Similarly in a democracry we each have only one vote - diddley squat really, but we also have the power (if we have free speech too) to persuade any number of other voters with one really powerful idea or argument.
