If you don’t need a PPR but have the money tucked aside or working somewhere else you’re not missing out on anything.
Sooner or later the nesting syndrome kicks in and if you haven’t been lazy ( it doesn’t sound like you’re lazy) the money that you have been “ working” regardless of interest rate/ price of properties should/could put you into a better place.
We all choose our preferred format for “ skinning the cat”, I wouldn’t suggest that your way is bad.
It will be different to some but we all have different priorities and commitments.
