Our banks have the most exposure as a % of their loan books to Property then any other banks in the world (Westpac is like 66% residential property on its loan book, the highest of the Big4). China saved us in the GFC, next time might be different.

I report to the Big4, so yes, I have seen them tightening their lending policies to developers. Developers have been going to international banks of recent for funding, or smaller fianciers on higher interest rates.

Have you been following the royal commission at all? Our banks are no different, their lending standard have gaps, holes, discrepancies, and everything in between. Their ‘bad debt’ isn’t so bad, yet.

As rates rise... well... do you really think things are going to still be sound and all okay? Lol.
