I strongly believe that the biggest problem lies with people with little or no business acumen buying into franchises without looking properly into the whole structure,they see it as an easy entry point into being self employed.
A lot of people that have been made redundant after long term employment or have received an inheritance jump into these things with blinkers on and then when it falls apart they blame everyone except themselves and there lack of management skills.
