I emailed AGO list of directors and generic email also asking about questions related to the Independent Expert Report and some of the issues raised on here by Red I think.

Actually got a response...from AGO lawyer but didnt say much really. Below is copy of reply

Our Scheme Booklet will include the Independent Expert Report and confirm an assessment of independence consistent with regulatory requirements. In this regard, we refer you to the following documents:
·ASIC Regulatory Guide 60: Schemes of Arrangement
·ASIC Regulatory Guide 111: Content of expert reports
·ASIC Regulatory Guide 112: Independence of experts
·Accounting Professional & Ethical Standards Board Limited professional standards APES 225 “Valuation Services”
We expect that a suitably qualified and independent technical expert will also provide input into the Independent Expert Report.
