    Welcome to a brave new world...

    First lesson: A chartist is just a gypsy wearing a suit.
    Second lesson: Charts instantly lose any meaning they may have had in the presence of new fundamental information.

    That said, during my fifteen years trading futures and bonds of banks, I often kept a "point and figure" chart. Not because I believed in charts, but because it allowed me to anticipate how the chartists would act...
