Welcome back Bug.
One other concern I have is how much money on infrastructure Vocus is spending to get better NBN results. I have worked at the NBN and the single biggest issue with dropouts etc relates back top the ISP's. None of them were spending the required $ on their own infrastructure to be able to handle the extra volume through increased band width. That is now starting to happen with some of the big ones, but not sure (just don't know) how we are going.
The amount of money required to be spent by the ISP's is frightening. Of course none of them did it at the start as it's like a cartel, one in, all in, or one out, all out as the case was.
Anyway, the good news for customers will be better response times especially in peak but at a price.
I'll see how the sp goes after the NZ sale is announced but likely I'll take a hit and sell (50/50). I can't see Vocus doing a Bellamy's however Bellamy's is a great story - ALL ABOUT THE QUALITY OF MANAGEMENT. Hopefully we will now have a chance going forward with the recent and hopefully future changes.
Sorry about the rant - needed top get it off my chest.
