Sorry couldn't resist, by two parents I assume you mean Vodafone & Hutchinson?
I'm talking Vodafone international, 15 times the size of TLS.
They have always resisted making large capital investment in Aus, writing has been on the wall for a few years, they need to either dump lots of capital in or pack up and go home hence my above quote that wasn't worded quite as nicely.
I'm hoping/ expecting they pack up and go home as the Aus market just isn't big enough for them to fight over when you look at the possible growth by deploying that capital in China/ India/ Africa and reinvesting proceeds.
Why compete hard in Aus?
They may do it but it would be dumb and destroy the entire telco landscape in Aus IMO.
