    Vocus uses 3rd party from Brisbane up to Cairns (along the coast), i believe only Optus, and i guess Telstra, have fiber along the coast north of Brisbane, and i thought that was a bit congested for some reason. (i could be wrong though).

    Vocus has fibre inland from cairns to Alice Springs and back around, and also could go via the RBBP fibre through inland Queensland. (this is according to map on investor day presentation)

    The main reason i think Cairns is because its quickest to get to deep water, and thats where APNG cable went from
