One very conservative lender has today announced 5 yrs at 3.98% for Owner Occupiers. That's very appealing in my opinion however their assessment criteria is tougher than most..The Royal Commission will ultimately hurt the consumer as it will become increasingly more difficult to satisfy servicing standards and there will be a squeeze on credit thereby restricting borrowing capacity. Tough times ahead!
