Unfortunately we don't know what the issue us.

I assume the traditional owners came to an agreement when they made an announcement previously. I also expect that it shouldn't take 9 months for a a local council to approve a basic haul road in the middle of nowhere. Same for any other approvals.

I expect that the issue is Rio. What their issue is i'm not sure as they must approve these sort of things where companies work together all the time? Would they shut down a project because they won't grant access? Surely some sort of arbitration is available?

With a Chinese partner and demand for bauxite I can't see an offtake being a problem.
