I have some STO holdings which I bought before oil prices started crashing down. My basis back then was that STO was more of an LNG company than an oil company. Yes, I know that LNG price is linked to oil price ... if only LNG price is de-linked from oil price, then maybe STO SP would not not have declined so much back then ( but who knows, STO had huge debt back then ).
In any case, my question is:
If the bid by Harbour is successful, does this mean STO will be taken off the ASX and will become a private unlisted company ???
If so, what happens to STO holders who do not sell their shares prior to STO becoming a private unlisted entity ? How do we "sell" them after ?

There would be little if any market for them. There would be little or no point to retaining them.
