Well considering the previous history of them not wanting to correspond with myself, I highly doubt it....
If they actually had their house in order, stopped releasing announcements that are ambiguous, lack information, results not reported in the usual manner, full of mistakes then they wouldn't have to make amendments.
If you are satisfied with the way they report, anything I say/do shouldn't make any difference to your investment thesis but EVERY share holder has a right to be able to read/understand a company announcement without hitting forums on social media sites to try and decipher what they actually mean.
Also, as an example of the
fluff that GPP try and generate in their announcements.....
Firstly they have this:
"
Major REE Discovery at Robello" announced 1st June 2017
https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20170602/pdf/43jpbk849fvm40.pdf
In this announcement they use key highlight bullet points,
- they make references of comparable grades to projects currently being developed of TSX and ASX listed peers.
- they report 15 of 17 elements of REE in ppm/REO and TREO, bolding and highlighting higher end results
- the potential to host an economic alluvial REE, Ta-Nb deposit is now regarded as being highly likely given current global pricing, (first red flag here (for me)).
- they report Ta205 and Nb205 as percentage as well as the Ratio Nb:Ta
Then after a delay waiting on results, we get this "inspiring" announcement:
Morabisi Project - Robello & Heavy Creek REE Banka Drilling Program
https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20180223/pdf/43rw9ggqcfkfp1.pdf
Highlighted bullet points,
- The preliminary programme of Banka drill testing of alluvial areas at Robello and Heavy Creek Prospects has been completed
- 61 holes for a total of 210.3m of drilling completed at 3 sites
- Preliminary analytical testing has been completed in Vancouver BC
There is a spiel on the Banka Drilling Programme, including where the sent the samples, what drilling and sample amounts were done at what locations.
Further to preliminary analyses "selected" Banka drill holes samples are currently being shipped to Perth for Metallurgical testing.
⇑⇑ Not too much awe inspiring information so far, but someone is impressed:
Gerard King added:
"We are sufficiently impressed with the results achieved ............
Since that announcement, excellent commentators @Scarpa on this thread fail to understand what they are sufficiently impressed with....
It isn't as if we can look at the results and make any sort of ill-informed / informed decision considering that the results are in "Raw Data" format versus ppm/REO/TREO when they are trying to fluff up an announcement making it impossible (almost) to decipher if they are good/bad or other.
To add to the confusion, there was a mix up with results from Robello and Heavy Creek being duplicated as well as the map legends were not legible.
So as much as you do not like my pedantic approach to all things management, I suggest you contact the Company Secretary and ask him to explain why the announcement was mistake laden and hence, costing the share holders of GPP thousands of wasted $$$ by having to amend the initial announcement.
I mean he does get paid and he also does get "options" as Key Management Personnel for doing a job.
Thank you ASX

cheers
All the above IMO only
