Spot on! I feel the same about both Donut King and Gloria's. I can go to both of them and fight the crowds in the local shopping mall and get , in my opinion, average food and coffee.
The other alternative is go to the local bakery café, that has designer décor, modern facilities, gourmet coffee and great food, all with table service. They also provide a free copy of The Australian, so I can read the business pages while I am at it.
