i think the world is changing rapidly and business models from 10 y ago are now going to dissapear in fast tempo if they cant adjust to a new reality. What bothers me about RFG is that they have so much brands... too much of everything and nothing seems to be out of the box... it is obvious that all the brands are there to create as much as possible franchise units in a small AU market. It looks like a piramide scheme ... If you are serious about a brand and its growing potential then your company should focus on 1 OR 2 brands only and make them the best in their field.
All the brands they represent is a a SMOKE CURTIN to lure the simple minded into a franchise agreement. THE FRANCHISOR knows very well how to squeeze the new business owner (FRANCHISEE) in the initial stage of the new business venture. FRANCHISORS know that once your initial capital has been invested they wont be able to extract that much of you. And most of the new businesses have no real chance to survive in the long term because they have to settle where the product or service doesnt have enough potential clients with an average or poor product.

If a concept is really good then there is no need to find small mom paps wannabee entrepreneurs. You would take the profits for yourself and open up shops with own capital or investor funds. Occasionaly you would license your brand country by country and only manage a small group of exterior investors.

Most franchisors are only interested in the fees they can collect from you and in return they give you a fake not viable concept. Dont fall for the scam! If you cant do it yourself then dont do it. MOST FRANCHISE SYSTEMS ARE BASICALLY PIRAMID SCHEMES. The brands are weak and the franchisor spends his time ripping you off and selling new franchise contracts.
