I was planning to drop $100k of Nor around December (which, turns out would've been a good thing at 3c, considering what they've done to the share price for a perfectly timed bargain prices raise).. but yes, the $110k GTSR was destroyed by cricket ball sized hail the evening it was delivered.
They lost 13 brand new HSV's - that have since been repaired and resold at a small discount.
I actually got very lucky, and got another that was delivered the same day to a country dealer, where the purchaser was unable to proceed with it.
It bought me a couple of months... except nor have further dropped.
I was within a day of selling down nor recently at 1.3 low, which would've killed my ave.. and a last ditch effort to get financing went my way (after being declined by several lenders).
It's still sitting in the showroom waiting for me, but settled on it last week (to claim some gst straight back!)..
I had to come up with $10k deposit though.. so I've basically worked day and night for the last month rather than sell nor before they take off.
..and not picking up the ute for a few more weeks, giving a bit more time before insuring etc.
At least thanks to Nor, my baby (build 583 of 606) still has 0km on it!
Got a month until repayments start though, and plenty of other bills, plus waiting to get building permit and start some bigger work at home... so I still need nor to deliver this month.. and I'm sure they will.
Another couple of big hits at 1.4.. something finally coming? Going by the market update... I wonder how many rounds of big news are close?
