The reality, as I read things, is that penetration of any concrete industry requires a longer-term time frame and the design complexities are great. This, along with what we now recognize as the role that the variety of aggregates, sands and cement used, has to a large extent placed delays in the way of the company. Further, the specific requirements dictated to by geographic and climatic conditions as well the actual use/loading involved has hindered progress since early last year. Other factors (just to make things more complicated), have been the Trump infrastructure on-again/delayed-again program, (which has largely mirrored investor sentiment) and the once-in-a-generation US severe weather conditions for months on end. Oh yeah, global markets are also a bit shaken, if not stirred since the start of the year, for largely political reasons.
It has been with interest that I have followed the introduction of Poyndexter here on HC. What a welcome slice of insight, which after some early uncertainty has proven to be a genuine benefit to date, (he/she seems to have swayed MarkBoy and some others that the he is genuinely interested) because of the level of discussion generated, particularly concerning his/her industrial experience.
This has prompted many here to realize that EdenCrete (and imv by association related products) are on the right track, albeit in some people’s view perhaps better served by returning some focus to Australia’s own infrastructure boom, which is in the offing. On that note, the company is committed to navigating the US markets (with all that that entails), and has significantly chalked up success in terms of GDOT Class-B specification and acceptance across a large range of states. Which is arguably not too shabby to date, particularly given that the Class A results are possible by years end, if not by early 2019. So Aust will have to wait I reckon. One set of hurdles at a time, imv.
The sp has trended. Badly, but profitably for those prepared to trade that trend; as they do. There is the strong possibility that many traded to secure funds to commit to the options on offer and the brokers may have got cold feet as well. All of which is unfortunate. However, whatever the reasons, the sp is as it is until a strong reversal is signaled.
Will the sp turn on an announcement of significance? More than likely.
Will people who have opted to sit on the side-lines jump back in? If they recognize the potential, probably, along with those drawn to the cause as well.
Without fast tracking processes, which the company is seeking to entertain via the FHWA, and/or a positive announcement the sp will likely linger, but the reality imv is that progress is more likely than not, sales will continue to build through-out 2018 and cash will be generated.
DYOR, AIMVHO and GLTAH. Cheers, esp.
