I would add that we live in a world that is very fast changing. What is flavour of month today, is out of favour the next. Technology is really making the world a crazy place.
It's soooooo easy to be complacent as an investor especially when a company has had previous success. Management also get complacent and think they don't need to reinvent. Also trying to grow too quickly via debt and large rights issues. All warning signs.
My heart goes out to those who lost large amounts today. Fight on, it will get better as time goes on.
