Why does the digital world come to a standstill if the central computer crashes?
Most systems have backups and supposedly be fault resistant, yet continually fail.
Is it due to poor planning of infrastructure planning or lack off funding to make the system more robust.
I’m not a tech nerd but where I worked the local server used to regularly update the the central computer.
So, if the central computer had an issue, local operation would continue until the central system was operational again.
With all the hacking and collapse of operation, it would suggest that the analogue world was safer and more robust.
