Have just listened to the webinar. Thought it worthwhile to put up some transcript for everyone who listened and those who haven't had the chance.
I thought both Cat and Dan were very impressive.
There are some valuable insights here which, to my way of thinking, suggest significant near-term newsflow to come.
Cat: "Following our CR of $15 milion, we have a significant runway to commercialise this business, which is where we are right now.
We will absolutely prove-out our commercial value to our clients so that they know they can and will stick with us.
We will absolutely out-compete or competition regardless if they are IBM Watson, regardless if they are Microsoft or anybody else, because of the talent we have got in the team, and the commerical orientation we have.
It is important to remember that everything we have achieved has been done without a single sales person. That all changes with Dana.
Dana:
"I did significant due diligence on Flamingo before coming on board. The technology is better and stronger that I even imagined it was.
SALES TEAM
Given the nature of the company and the success we have had we feel we can attract the best talent in the market, that we can attract and hire people in weeks not months.
NEW PARTNER
We are very close to formalising a relationship with a very large multi-billion dollar annual revenue international footprint partner who frankly selected us and searched us out to work with them in Insurtech and Fintech across the whole platform.
My metric on this new partner is that if they can't bring in a new client for us up-front, we don't have time for that. So at a bare minimum they will bring along at least one new client, maybe more, and they are in the F100 category.
Frankly, I am tapping into my network of fin services clients created over the years. Cat and I have a major meeting in Canada with the largest bank in Canada, with the head of the contact centre for that bank, and that is a calendered-up item for next time out. They took the meeting on my recommendation.
I also expect we will get meetings with the top several banks in New York City in that session. The technology is that good, and that focussed on that market set.
ACCOUNT MANAGER.
We are focussed on qualifying new leads very aggressively. We now have a decidated sales person here in Sydney and in the US.
On the land and expand side, we have hired a a new dedicated account manager who is coming across from Metlife. She will be embedded with all the top clients. She will be our ears on the ground. Her job is to build deep relationships with the key executives, set up the meetings with the key purchasing decision makers so we can go in and land and expand in the most effective way.
OTHER VERTICALS
We have actually signed another significant contract outside the Insurtech/Fintech space, and that's the starting point. More to come on that.
SUMMARY
As kind of a summary, it is extremely gratifying for me, we just met earlier today with a very large financial service company here in Sydney, actually here in Sydney and Brisbane. They came in here and they have certain requirements, and we hit every single one of them.
They have looked at IBM, all the other players in the space, the niche players, and we showed them what we are doing, and particularly those with a bit of education (in AI) understand that what we have is exactly what they want.
And quite frankly that is why I joined this company because I saw the future here, and I'm really seeing that come to fruition, and it just gives me more energy and more conviction for when I get back to the US to present this to all my contacts throughout North America.
CAT:
In response to various questions about why revenue isn't more.
It is super-important the market knows we have focussed on keeping a small group of 8-9 highly-known brand clients in order to build technology that has never been built before on our own IP, completely built ourselves on our own platform. This technology is not built and tested overnight.
We have built never-before built technology that is now out there proving that it can do what we predicted it would do.
It is now time to convert this to revenue.
We are building a long-term sustainable business that is the best in the world and I will only do that by building the best technology, proving it out, make it generate value for our clients, and when we are ready to run like we are now, then we start commercilasing the business.
Dana's time with us today is testiment to that, that we are now at commercialisation stage.
Over the next 12 months, certainly over the next six months, we expect to have a significant improvement in revenue because that is what the business is now focussed on."
Aside from all the above, perhaps the most important takeout was the segment on development of the
Flamingo Mega/MetaBrain.
There was too much to transcibe. It is a
MUST-LISTEN for all - from 18 minutes on - how Flamingo competes with IBM Watson, Microsoft, Amazon and Google, why we are better, and why as Cat puts it, we will out-compete all of them.

I would really like to see Flamingo develop into a global AI powerhouse, but with Dan's background, it wouldn't be a stretch to think that IBM, MSFT, AMZN and GOOG are keeping a very close eye on what Flamingo have achieved, and will continue to achieve now we are in, as Dana put it, the turbo-charge commercialisation stage.
Certainly worth a lot more than the current discounted MC.
