Hey Elit,
Catriona has now twice said that they have analysed IBM Watson, MSFT, GOOG and AMZN and "we know where they fail."
Where they fail is in having built a pre-progammed "solution" looking for a problem. It is not true machine learning, and it certainly is not a Meta-Brain that continues to intuitively learn - expanding its knowledge and ability to interact with customers the more information it ingests - answering unanticipated questions and ultimately providing an appropriate solution that best meets the customers' needs.
Notwithstanding everything else, this is Flamingo's key competitive advantage.
Remember Cat spoke of the CEO sitting with his head in his hands saying forty to fifty per cent of their customers have either bought a product they don't know what it is, don't want and/or which doesn't meet their needs.
Flamingo AI goes a long way to solving this problem. If it works - and from all accounts it does - that is worth serious money for all concerned - the F100 Insure/Fintech providers, their customers who want the benefit of what they pay for, and Flamingo.
To unequivocally state that "we will absolutely out-compete them regardless if they re IBM Watson, regardless if they are Microsoft or anybody else," is a bold statement of intent the likes of which I don't think I have ever heard from the CEO of a microcap on the ASX.
If they come anywhere close to pulling that off, you can be sure of two things.
One, the big end of town will not idly stand by while the upstart from downunder steals F100 clients from under their collective noses.
Two, if and when the bidding war erupts, Doctor Cat and her trusty side-kick Cathie Reid - no offence intended - will not be giving it away for pips.
And that's without taking into account the fact that we are already expanding into other verticals.
Or as Dana said, "more on this soon......"
