As you know @fooca BGS was already trading between 5c and 27c range for 3 years before they bought the lithium tenements. Moreover this was done before the shares were being consolidated 10:1. This was between 2013 period to 2016. With an indicated resource of 15MTs the lithium tenements in Goulamina, though bought very cheaply were being offered at a ridiculous low price of $107 million. Yet in the last correction, the SP came back to $107 million and indication no value was given to BGS for its gold. Its indicated resource which in October last year was already over 33 MTs.
In its last quarterly report, there was mentioned of new tenements being applied, reading between lines, this was not on the lithium alone. Aero magnetic survey now include that of gold. Consultants have been appointed to recommend on the areas of tenements to be drilled to get the maximum out of the gold as this is particular to the gold tenements BGS has. BGS main business is now entrenched in lithium in which it obtain the maximum value. Yet, originally most of the long term shareholders before the arrival of blastfurnance and the new group of investors were mainly there for the gold. The consultants are very expansive and I suspect, not only appointed to find new areas to drill but to get the best outcome for existing shareholders. To obtain the best value for its shareholders, I suspect a spinning out of a new company, with free shares to the shareholders could be the best way to go, especially if the consultants find good potential in its tenements for the gold. We need specialists for the gold as both resources are valuable assets to BGS. For the new gold company, I suspect, very little need to be raise in terms of capital, which mainly is for working capital only. The thing now is for management, and subsequently for shareholders to decide whether this is the way to go. A new gold company has many avenues it can head for, could be a TO target, merger prospect or left to fend for itself. To maximize shareholders benefits, I suspect management is already working on this aspect which they are keeping a low key in the event they may not go ahead with this avenue. I suspect, if there is no fire, there wouldn't be any smoke. This has been mentioned by several other shareholders besides the undersigned. (DYOR)(lol).
