Those numbers are also not accurate as they are old data 48 hrs old
Good luck finding a full service broker offering a short on FBR it will be a long search or a CFD instrument
Most retail punters need to put up 50 k min to short sale stocks direct to a broking house who charge big fees
CFDS offer leverage but it would be unlikely to see much action short side FBR in retail land mate

@hokey the shorts amounts change on a daily basis.
The point is that shorting is occuring. The fact that you can't find a broker to do it doesn't mean it isn't happening.
On Feb 27th there was 9.3 million short positions.
