I think this statement could only be applied to the likes of CAT at best. If the HH,SOL,regal saga provides a lesson to me. Its that fund managers can be fickle, and major "disruption" can unnerve them just like ordinary retail investor like us. Taking hokeys point, if a 2nd GFC came, there is no reason not to expect the SP to fall to 12-13C. Fidelity are not "saints". They can easily sell them all out as well. Only hope is that this time they have other funds as well. But they are susceptible to the same fear and emotions of a falling "Crisis".
Only question you have to ask yourself as a long term holder for this. Would you buy more or sell everything.
