- go back to the “why” you have invested in the company in the first place and reflect on it
- make sure you research is up to date and consider if the current facts are still matching your “why”
- check the financials again and be cautious of the narrative, sometimes you will find a disconnect between what is said and the reality
- keep researching and triangulate your research with experts
- admit that you can be wrong
