Here is what I would like to see from this company:
1.) A statement on whether the 300,000 registered customers on their platform are just the "re-activated" Razer Arena users (which they were entitled to re-target). If they have attracted completely new users then bravo to them, they are clearly doing something right in the marketing department.
2.) Figures on active users and also a definition of what an active user is e.g. logged in to platform or played in a tournament, 1+ times in the last week, month, year?
2.) A clear overview of their plan to generate revenue from registered users and a more detailed timeline, are they seriously launching everything in May 2018 at the same time? No more silly powerpoints about 'monetization innovations', nothing on that slide is an innovation.
3.) An answer to the question about whether they are the exclusive partner to Razer, or can other companies also license the Razer Arena software and "hey presto" instant competition. This is similar in my opinion to whether a company has a patented product or just a product.
Chances of getting the above are slim, although I would happily be proven wrong.
I am keeping my eyes on this company after previously selling out, can't see myself taking a position again until after the revenue initiatives are launched in May 2018 (see point 3 above) and we can mull over the results.
If anyone else is on the sidelines like me, happy to hear what would make you take another look at this company.
