Hey @Winenut, I'm currently doing a module called 'Develop and use Emotional Intelligence' as part of a Leadership & Management course.
Whilst I agree that the term 'emotional intelligence' is just another wanky, management catchphrase, the actual practice of emotional intelligence is an underrated skill that many people lack in both their work and personal lives.
