Sorry to clog up the really constructive flow above with a post that seemingly adds zero tangible value, but I wanted to add a few items for consideration:
- mjp2-verminksi-wombat777 ("MVW") perpetual trophy, to be awarded in 2018 to the namesakes for conspicuous and diligent contributions including almost 24-7 surveillance of the global situation wrt BAT, and real-time valuation updates.
- "Em Vigor" (translates to "In Force") as a new motto and rally cry for BAT
- DF is now "The Reverend" (Reverend Flanno) who delivereth us from evil, thy kingdom come, thy will be done.....etc
- this all sounds crazy, and likely is, but on the flipside things are getting better for BAT
Congratulations to The Reverend and the rest of the BAT team for their success on the issue of the Montepuez mining licence by the Mozambique Government, and to mjp2, Verminski and wombat777 for being all over it and adding value (and keeping us appraised of the value). A lot of good work has been done in establishing the investment thesis for BAT and some of us have gone large, in amidst the usual and expected heckling. You guys are the founding fathers of the early investments in a company that is likely to be a lot bigger than it currently is. Some people actually make serious contributions to the knowledge base which they share here, and it generally goes unacknowledged.
We're not there yet with BAT, and I'm certainly not celebrating, but we're certainly alive and kicking.
