Chinese company Agria Corporation, which half owns (50.2%) New Zealand produce company PGG Wrightson (PGW) is under review by the Overseas Investment Office, after Agria was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange. Anyway it looks like Agria Corporation will have to sell its share of PGW. (NZX_PGW - MC NW$460.46M (A$434), P/E ratio 10.31,Div yield 6.15% ). So we are looking at someone needing to raise A$230M (ish)
NZX_PGW has a “review” and has hired Credit Suisse and First NZ Capital to run a strategic review of the business
perhaps they can sell of some crown Jewels as some sort of swap?
ELD and RHL have been asked to bid.
