Hi Anthony. Construction specifications always hold the provision "Or an approved alternate".
e.g. "N32 concrete with Edencrete additive at 2gal/cubic yard or an alternative mix approved by the client". This provision is to prevent companies with proprietary equipment from milking the contract for all it's worth.
So no until a purchase order is received nothing is guaranteed.
The above said, contractors usually go with the specified mix to save hassle. The cost is usually built into the contract price anyway. If the contractors didn't go with Eden this would be a huge concern because it would suggest the contractors felt it worth the hassle to get an alternate mix approved and not use Eden.
