I don't think eBay or any marketplace provider fits the profile for AfterPay. Marketplace merchants like Catch, Kogan, Ozsale offer the Buy Now Pay Later 'solution' but aren't willing to pay a higher transactions. However the real kicker is what AfterPay is offering to merchants to grow their customer database. I loved the page 21 of the presentation where it talks about the million of monthly retailer referrals, AfterPay events and app downloads which is a great platform to cross sell merchants to existing 1.5 million.

Most merchants now will have some type of affiliate programs which they pay for where AfterPay don't charge for referrals.
