Exactly the case.

We got together when she was 13, and I was 16, (nearly 50 years ago)

Talk every now and again still, perhaps not quite as often as I'd like.

I was 37 when we got together in '90, and our son will be 46 this year.

So many childhood and adult memories, 99% of them good,

that won't just "go away".
