Hi Dex,
The sales team and the management at EdenCrete in Colorado have the technical expertise. However, I agree with you that it would be a huge bonus to have a civil engineer or real concrete industry specialist on the board. I am sure this will happen eventually. Why don't you throw your hat in the ring, you sound perfectly suited to me.
At the moment, EDE are making do with the BOD they have always had, to now oversee EdenCrete. I think at the time they had little choice, due to the fact that the development of EdenCrete really came out of left field. Essentially EDE is a brand new company with EdenCrete now entering its third year (it really only got started on the second half of 2015). This lack of experience definitely led to an overall miscalculation of how long it would take to achieve a steady flow of significant sales. Having said this, GS has become very savvy in all things related to EdenCrete and the concrete industry. I know I will get a lot flak for saying this, however, I believe he has done a great job, particularly given his intially very limited experience in this area.
I would be the first to admit that now, nearly 3 years down the track, I am also a lot wiser, and now understand the intricasies of EdenCrete and the concrete industry far better. However, I am still nowhere near your level.
Best regards!
Mark
