I agree, the war on drugs has been a total failure. All it has done has made criminals out of young people, pushed them on harder drugs due to inflated prices and restricted supply and corrupted the police and politicians.
Typical Greens however, they want the government to control the supply.. who the hell cares if someone smokes a bit of pot - let them grow it at home. Get organised crime out of that aspect of drugs at least.
The real issue is Ice and the like.. this is causing much more harm (not just to themselves) which for some reason we cannot stop or control. We need to look at this as a health issue.
