Shorts and longs simply take a view like the rest of US. . I have invested in some stocks that where some of the most shorted on the ASX st the time , MTS and FXJ , some others like FMG and Flight centre also proved to be wrong calls by the shorts but like investors who only talk about their wins , everyone SIs ignores the numerous times shorters have got it wrong . I have bought a few ( 39.5 ave) not massive exposure but big enough to care and my view is the company is worth more than the current market price and EV which are similar . It is not for the faint hearted but I think the chances of lew making a play soon is significant
