No doubt wishing to avoid the "wrong" kind of publicity on the immigration issue, she sought to keep the incident out of the media. But as she had reported it to the police it was bound to find its way there eventually.

Oh well, robbery is not so bad. Many citizens of western Europe have endured far worse crimes in the last 2-3 years.
