Sky Safe is early days compared to DRO and already with a $1.5m DIUx contract (since last year) because they have more finesse in their approach (its RF but they go over it and hack in and contro not just blast noise at targets —huge diff). They are also PE and have better access to capital than DRO and these expensive SP processes (paying someone $60k and options to raise $1.25m at a 20% discount to 5 day WVAP!). They also have more people with the right US credentials. I struggle to see DRO doing well in the US - but think they can elsewhere, even if they aren’t as good as sky safe, just because the world is big enough.
