IMO partnering with the Chinese is vital to ensure Cuban govt and Cupet honour all covenants of the licence and production agreement in block 9 . They will not mess with their new masters..All Chinese oil and gas company’s including the in country drillers who IMO have submitted turnkey proposals are tied into the state owned mothership of petrochina / CNPC ...
Interesting to see they have messed with Sherritt in the past although Cupet did compensate them , they will tread differently if we have Chinese support and financial backing. .
Let’s get some real news out HQ , 5 years and by my reckoning $10-12 mm of shareholders money have been involved now in Cuba block 9 and still no definitive path to turning a bit .
