Gaming and entertainment group Crown Resorts (ASX:CWN) has announced the resignation of director, James Packer.
In a statement released today the company says Mr Packer has resigned for personal reasons.
The company’s Chairman says Crown has appreciated Mr Packer’s contribution and respects his decision to step down from Crown.
Mr Packer’s resignation follows reports Crown Resorts may have breached gambling regulations in 2017.
The company also announced lower than expected results for the first half of 2018.
Shares in Crown Resorts Limited (ASX:CWN) are trading 0.38 per cent lower at $13.02
