Let’s be honest here, Winx would be fairly competitive in the Uk middle distance races but not dominate like she is against our middle distance horses. We are breed to sprint, our longer races are run the same way .....walk in front sprint home last 300m. ( it’s akin to Usain Bolt racing in a 800m race and they jog 600 and sprint last 200, how’s that going to work out? Try running 800 flat out and see how he goes).. in Europe they run along all the way and have pacemakers to help this happen. How many times do u see c grade UK middle distance horses dominate here when brought by Waller or Weir.
