No disrespect intended, but my point about the position of the project relative to the fault is that the entire premise of Treasure Island hinged upon the fault's interpreted position being wrong, and therefore TI was in the same geological domain as St Ives. If, however the BLF position was mapped correctly then TI is on the "wrong side of the tracks", in which case Deano et al banging on about nearology and cyclical repetitions of big orebodies is completely meaningless. It's like saying your house is only 15km from Dalkeith when in fact you live in North Armadale (for non Perth residents, North Armadale is like Kabul except with more yobbos).
The surface geochem and free gold was great, but nuggets in narrow quartz veins at surface don't mean much. From memory the drilling was pretty average.
