I should note that it is not at all uncommon to have delays in publishing independently assessed 3rd part JORC Resource reports.
CLA is dependent on dates provided and being met by the qualified/ certified 3rd party resource assessment firm making that 3rd party assessment
CLA and its management will be given a projected date from the 3rd party JORC qualified firm commissioned to determine the resource, for issuance of the report from the 3rd party to CLA Management, typically this will be issued in draft form to CLA and then CLA will ask any questions / clarifications on the DRAFT report. Once all CLA questions/ clarifications have been answered and any amendments that satisfy the independent assessors JORC requirements are made then the final report will be issued and released to the market by CLA.
I would not expect any trading halt to issue the JORC Maiden Resource report CLA will simply issue a ASX announcement with the report detail when it ready for release
In this process it is quite common for there to be delays. The JORC independent assessors are responsible for the accuracy of the report and their primary concern is get it RIGHT not on meeting a timetable - even if they have given already given a projected issuance date for the report.
So yes none of us want to see a delay in the CLA maiden JORC resource report, however I am confident in my reason for investment in CLA that I am not going to sweat on a slight delay and its not something I would blame management for.
