Just google Herceptin and cardiotoxicity. Lots of info and papers around. Incidence does seem to depend on which chemo it is in combination with and how long treatment is for. Obviously, looking at Herceptin because it targets the same receptor. What gives me pause is that unlike Herceptin, where you can stop treatment and recover from side-effects, once you're vaccinated you're kind of stuck with it.
The p1 breast cancer trial used a different formulation and only treated 10 patients. Not a lot to go on, even when you add in the 6 patients in the first cohort of the 1b.
If you want a possible happy reason for crew heading to Vienna - some of the first cohort patients must be well into long term maintenance, past any chemo influence. Maybe, just maybe, there's been the sort of result that warrants a meet up.
