The areas targeted are on the periphery of the lake basins underneath alluvial cover to intersect fault related sands/gravels with high volumes of Li brine - often at depth. The aim is to source good grades, good chemistry and good flow rates - all of which may not be available in what you term the “main zones” within the basin. LKE targeted these areas about 2 years ago when the land was first pegged - ahead of the majors. The likes of Advantage Lithium and Orocobre are now starting to target similar areas. We may have had first dibs on some pretty high potential areas......time will tell.
