It gets investors who don't know what they're doing into trouble. Therein lies the difference. When I first bought Evolution for 77 cents in September of 2014, many posters emblazoned with bleeding hearts were the same posters who were crying 'its the end of the world for gold stocks.' How did that turn out? If Evolution and its ilk were blessed with circumstances that were favorable to short term outcomes (reasons for buying them), then how much better will they be 5 years from now, as gold remains stubbornly below $US1350? The dam will break eventually, and GOR has done all that it has done in a climate where gold has largely been despised as a quality tier one asset, which, fortunately, it no longer is. The last 5 years will be like a mad hatter's tea party compared to the next 5 years in terms of collapsing economies, currencies, Globohomo/toxic masculinity agenda that is designed to destroy basic morals, families, heterosexual men, all of it feeding into fear, loathing and desperation. If you think the last five years were good - or bad, depending on your definition - then you ain't seen nothin' yet. I want to be in good quality gold stocks, even if that means paying a premium, and I want to hold physical gold.
Don't get me wrong, I call it as I see it.
