Normally your statement that the closer a mill is to startup the stronger the SP should become is a true one. Thats because usually the mill is being built to process something that is being mined in readiness for processing, and a lengthy proving up process has previously shown the start up of the mill is justified.
ARV havent proven up anything. They are just winging it, rushing around trying to find "something"that MIGHT be profitable to mine, and process. Every few weeks the " something" seems to change.
This approach is very risky and if history is anything to go by, doomed to fail.
The SP shot up based on Purdys conglomerate gold potential, and the fact that someone likely to suceed was running the show. With any progress on Purdys seemingly at a halt at present, some holders want to exit to minimise losses while they can.
Hence the SP goes down.
Pretty obvious when you analyze it.
