The reality about our planet is that is very much like the human organism - many internal and external factors affecting it's existence but overall it is surviving. When we have an ache we may take a panodol, when we get a cut we get some disinfectant, when we get caner we throw everything at it..........alas sometimes it kills us from what we do to our body to fight it.
The planet will react once we reach a tipping point in such an unexpected way that half, if not more, of the human population (parasites) will perish thus the planet is bought back into balance and healed. But it will take a lot more than reducing a bit of human produced CO2. Like taking a panadol to cure cancer - it just doesn't work like that.
Parasites generally live off their host until the host dies, or the parasites are eradicated!
